Electronic device technical support expert Frank Ligons

Hello!  I'm Frank.

My digital life began in the 3rd grade when my friend Chris and I won a programming contest by Westinghouse. Using an old language called "Logo," our submission animated iconic scenes of Pittsburgh, where we grew up.

Our program wasn't rocket science, but Westinghouse Corporation, which actually developed rockets, displayed our winning creation at its corporate headquarters. Our parents were proud. :)

Fast forward to a Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University and many more years of personal and professional technological experience in management consulting and digital marketing.

Later, as a Doctoral Fellow at the National Library of Medicine, my graduate work focused on electronic equipment designed to protect seniors from medication errors.

My Master of Science degree in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Pittsburgh involved studying how aging-related impairments impact the use of technological safety nets.

After retiring from teaching music for forty years, my father entertained at dozens of assisted living centers around the city. As a celebrated vocalist, he infused the crowd with the happy reminiscences tied to the music of their heyday. I often joined him on stage, glad I could add a little joy to everyone's lives.
